(updated 2017) Great location, great owners, great service staff, all great! Food is excellent and reasonable. Salmon was very good. Best chicken fingers ever. Live music periodically. They also have an ice cream parlor...fun! Also now have the lodge across the road to accommodate large events like family or corporate reunions etc. They have the full package now to serve any customer. Love this place!
Probably the best steakhouse in Washington County. It's set right in a big open field where cows and horses graze all around. My experience was; a cold winter night, everyone was hungry, we came in and were accommodated quickly (10 people, 4 kids). Staff was nice, food was delicious. A live bluegrass band played while we ate and came around and talked to each of the tables. Awesome experience!

We were seated immediately. Waited 10 minutes for a waitress to ask us what we wanted to drink. We tried to order at the same time while taking order for drinks, but the waitress refused to take it. FINALLY came back with water and we got to order. We only ordered salads 45 minutes later still no food. Two other tables of people that came AFTER us got their food be forever us. What's up with that???? One of us asked about our order and she said it will be right out. The thing is the resturant was not busy ....when we got there 3 tables with people. Won't go there again.
They used to have amazing food but we went there tonight and I paid $16.00 for a chicken breast the size of a hockey puck with BBQ sauce that tasted like ketchup. My husband's prime rib was $25 and was tiny and not good. We ordered a grilled cheese for my kid and got 3 tiny dry chicken fingers instead. The "signature beans" used to be so good. Now they taste like canned beans with huge chunks of canned tomatoes. They said it was a 30 minute wait but we actually waited 50 minutes, they never gave us our bread basket and we waited a long time for our order. We left feeling hungry and ripped off. Cool building, nice people, poor service and tiny portions of gross food.
